I just had our third child. Rachel Melissa. I am also an extraction worker for our ward.
2006-This year I am doing Activity Day girls for the 10 year olds and I am still an extraction worker for our ward. They are now going to be doing things on the internet instead of using the disks. I am excited and hope that I can keep doing it. We love being close to family now.
2007- I started a new calling at the first of this year. I am in the nursery. Our ward is so big they have and older and younger nursery. It is nice in some ways and challenging in others having it set up like that. Anyway I ended up with the younger nursery so pretty much none of them talk much. My youngest daughter Rachel went with. It ended up a great blessing for me since I hadn't been in a class since she was 6 months old. She turned 18 month in March. Just as she started throughing tantrums with me there they switched me to the older nursery which has been a good thing for me as well. Our oldest is in 1st grade and loving it. She doesn't like missing at all. Our middle child is liking staying home for one more year before he goes to kindergarten. He likes to play on the computer and help me keep by bushes trimmed in the front yard. My husband teaches primary still and is in the 8yr old class now. I also have enjoyed gardening this year even though we had no success with our cantalope and little success with tomatoes. I should have an abundance of melons if all of them ripen before it gets cold. I am grateful for the gospel and visiting teachers. Since moving back to Utah I am grateful that I get visits from them each month. That was one of the hard things I missed while living in Virginia 4 yrs back. But I was blessed there with good sisters to visit so it all works out. |
