I've had a recent missionary experience. At my work I have some down time, so I've been chatting with people from Egypt to New York and talking about the gospel. I found a golden contact in Portland. Then I got my former companion Gary Stapley involved and after a year, she was ready for the Oregon missionaries. Then when she decided to join, Gary and I drove to Portland and I baptized her and Gary confirmed her. It was cool to follow a convert all the way through the process and not get transferred! Now we are working with her husband. |
