After my mission I went to BYU and studied Chemical Engineering. I graduated in 1998 and went to work for Intel in Oregon where I have lived most of the time since then. I did move to the Boston area for about 1 year in 2006 to do a short masters program in Supply Chain Management but came back to Oregon again after that. That was a busy time for me but very rewarding, and I felt supported by our Father in Heaven as there has never been a time in my life when I have gotten so little sleep yet been so productive. It was also a fun adventure to see a bit of history in Boston and the surrounding area.
I met my wife April shortly before finishing school at BYU, and we kept up a long distance relationship before getting married a year later. We now have 5 wonderful children with 2 sons (10 yrs old & 20 months old) and 3 girls (8, 6, & 4 years old). We have a busy but happy home.
I am currently the financial clerk and a nursery leader in my ward so I get to play with my youngest son each Sunday during church. |
