I loved my mission! Its memories, feelings, smells and people have stayed fresh in my mind and heart for 4 years. I cherish all my areas, especially Baldwin Park, La Puente and East LA. I left behind great and dear brethren. I know I was born to serve in this special place on earth. If I could do it again, I would do so, without hesitations. I married the greatest daughter of God a week after I came home. We were sealed in the newly constructed Houston Temple in December 2000. Went to Utah on our honeymoon, and bumped into President Swenson and family at the Conference Center, before a showing of "The LIght of the World." We have no children yet. Finishing up my B.A. from the University of Houston. I know the church is the biggest and best Pearl of Great Price on the face of the earth, along with the Book of Mormon. I know Jesus the Christ lived, and lives and paid the price for our sins, and that the CA Arcadia Mission is one of the best on earth. I look forward to hear from companions and friends. |
