This is a shot in the dark: I'm trying to locate the missionaries who taught & baptized my family & me in Glendale, CA on 2/14/76. My son just opened his mission call & I had a strong yearning to reconnect with them.
One of the Elders was from Spokane, WA, & the other was from Meridian, ID. We actually went to the homecoming talk of one of them and I can remember being embarrased that he called everyone's attention to us and called us a golden family-such was my age & maturity. I believe Elder Whitaker was one of their names. Oh, President Goates, I've been informed, was the Mission President at the time. If anyone can offer helpful suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time and efforts in advance!
Here is what I looked like back then, and I had to be baptized twice because my hair didn't go under water, so I got a goose-egg-sized bump on the back of my head the 2nd time that was repeatedly asked about and apologized for by these elders. Hope that helps! |
