I just graduated with my Masters in Art Therapy and Marital and Family Therapy in Los Angeles. Landed a sweet job working with children and families in the premier community mental health clinic in the county and more than half of my caseload is Spanish-speaking immigrants. Go figure. I've done some research which is being published and will be presented at two national conferences this year. (Yay me!) On top of that, I've followed my heart and, since my mission, become a working artist. Now I also teach art classes here in Los Angeles and take art commissions. I have an incredible boy that I live with -- my 3-year-old puppy dog who's the best companion I've ever had (sorry Sisters!). |
