Catalina Island is a part of the California Long Beach Mission. Is is actually a part of the Long Beach 1 st Ward boundries it was in my first area on my mission. From my understanding missionaries use to go there, but not anymore because Catalina is more for visitors who are vacationing. It has a nice surrounding. Mostly nice expensive hotels and wonderful activities you can do there as well like going scuba diving. Wonderful for weddings and honeymoons.
