It was great serving a mission. I have drawn on my mission experiences in all aspects of my life--and expect to do so throughout eternity. My wife, our five children, and three of their spouses are returned missionaries. Nothing beats a mission for building maturity and faith. When you defend and teach the faith--you grow! Four years after my mission I served in the US Army in Vietnam. Nineteen years after my mission I was called to be the Vietnamese Branch President in Denver, CO. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I served as a Bishop. Currently I am Temple Ordinance Worker, Civil Air Patrol Chaplain, and HP Group Leader. |
