My wife Mary and I have been married since mid-1995 and we have four children. Finished my B.S. (1999) and M.S. (2001) at BYU in Family Science and Marriage & Family Therapy, respectively. We then went to Texas Tech University where I completed a Ph.D. in Marriage & Family Therapy (2004). I am currently an assistant professor in Human Development & Family Science at Oklahoma State University. I teach about and conduct research on marital and couple relationships, specifically: (a) family-of-origin influences on romantic and marital relationships, and (b) the emergence of behavioral, emotional, and physiological patterns between partners during marital communication and conflict.
Was just called to serve as the Bishop in our ward here (July, 2005). I apologize in advance if that shakes anyone's testimony...
