Last fall, I separated from the Navy and moved to Utah. We had done enough traveling and wanted to move closer to my wife's family. Even though we moved to Utah with no house or job, I got my current job in one week. (Thank goodness for tithing!) I work for a nation-wide company named Savage Services that is based here in Salt Lake City. I am very happy being out of the military and out of healthcare. I am still doing finance and business analysis and the company is doing very well despite the economy. Originally, my wife and I were called to the best calling in the church, the nursery! It really is a little known best secret. I got to be with my wife for all three hours and all the snacks I could eat! (Very nice perk while all the other adults are starving in Sunday School on Fast Sundays!) Then, they called my wife to the Relief Society presidency and me to the CTR 8's, which I love as well. (Except for not having the snacks. Someone must have told the bishop.) We are glad to be settled in and after moving for nine years, I told my wife to just bury me in the basement when I die.
