President and Sister Grow (1999-2002)

Robert J. Grow, was called from the Little Cottonwood Ward, Sandy Utah Granite View Stake. He was serving as stake preparedness specialist. President Grow is a former High Councilor, Bishop, Elders Quorum President, Young Men president, Sunday School teacher, and missionary in the California Central Mission. In business he was chairman of Envision Utah. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah, and juris doctorate from BYU. President Grow was born in Washington, D.C., to Richard William and Peggy Anne Staub Grow. He married Linda Gessel and they have six children.

Sister Linda Gessel Grow was serving as Stake Relief Society President at the time of her husbands call. She is a former Primary President, Counselor in Relief Society presidency, Primary teacher and chorister, and Cub Scout den leader. Sister Grow received a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City to Clyde David and Mary Louise Gardner Gessel.
