It's been almost 10 years since the day I left home for my mission. I can't believe it's been all these years! Yet, the memories of those special days are still fresh in my mind, and I call upon them from time to time when I need to feel again the strength, faith and hope you have once you are a missionary. I'll be eternally gratefull for the angels who supported me during that time, angels in the form of family, members, comps, presidents, the people of San Diego!
Life changed a lot in the next 8 years that followed my mission. I've seen and done many things, visited many places, but those 24 months are still capable of touching my soul, deeply.
I've graduated in Industrial Design at a local federal university and run a small design company in Florianópolis, Brazil. I'm still gathering strength to return to San Diego for a visit, but I don't think I'm prepared yet... |
