I was a convert as a teenager in El Centro. I started investigating starting around 1975 and was baptized in 1976. Because my parents required the lessons be spaced apart, I went through several sets of missionaries, some who may not know I joined. I know Elders Lind and Crandall know, since they handled my baptism. Other names I recall are Andujar, Creech, and Allred.
Not only did I join, but so did my brother Nathan. Nathan's oldest son is now on a mission to Argentina. I am currently teaching at BYU-Idaho.
I really wanted to reach out and let "my" elders know of how things turned out, as well as to thank them! |
