I'm probably in a similar situation as many of you who are reading this... married, raising a toddler, working hard to pay off student loans, standing as a witness for Christ at all times and in all places. Boy, life can be rough, can't it? With a testimony based on solid principles, we can find joy in even the most difficult and trying times.
It seems to me that many of us come home and abandon the good habits we exercised on our missions--regular scripture study and prayer. A return to these two fundamentals will boost your testimony and inspire you to do good. The gospel of Christ as set forth in the doctrine of the Church we represent is complete and true! Much like our missions, the more obedient we are to God's laws--as set forth in the true gospel of Christ--the more happiness we will experience.
If any of my old companions are wondering, yes, I still suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Guitar Disorder.
