I was born in Cambodia. I was sponsored from Kao I Dang Camp to US in 1985 and was baptised in 1986. I served in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania mission in '91-93 speaking Khmer and Laotion. I was married in 1996 and have 1 boy and 3 girls.
We currently attend the Cavelero Ward in Lake Stevens , WA. There used to be many Khmer members attending when we had an Asian branch in Everett and the Seattle, WA mission that includes Khmer, Laos and Vietnamese speaking missionaries, but now there are only a few faithful one that are still attending because the branch had been dissolved and members had been moving to different wards around the city. Some members felt uncomfortable attending by themseves and slowly had fallen away.
