Sister Nina Smith (my wife) and I joined the Chucrh in Gander in 1982 after being taught by Elder David Savage and Thomas Bryson at the time Presidsent Kenning was serving as Mission President.
We lived there from 1982 to 1985 and from 1988 to 1992 and have fond memories of working close to many of the missionaries who dined at our home.
I am serving as the Bishop of the Chapel Hill Ward in Ottawa and we would welcome a message or visit from anyone who may be passing through. We have five children ages 22 to 8 and all but one are at home enjoying the love and care of their mom.
