| While serving my mission in the Glace Bay area in 1979, the Lord led my companion and I to the home of Pastor W. Dan Morrell of the Glace Bay Pentecostal Tabernacle. It has since been renamed the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, located at 85 Reserve Street. We were asked by the Pastor to teach his bible study class one evening about the Book of Mormon which lead to our getting in many homes to present future discussions. But what followed the next day was most important. The Pastor showed up on our door steps, which lead to a good hour discussion concerning spiritual gifts. It was then that I experience the gift of tongues, which led my companion and I to spiritually feed the pastor with a message I'm sure he will never forget. It is my hopes to make contact with this pastor whom I will guess would be in his 60's. I would ask anyone to visit this congregation and inquire as to what became of Pastor W.
