Hi all!
I married Todd in August of 1996 and lived in Ogden, Ut for 5 years where I served as Young Women's president, achievement days leader and single adult advisor. We moved to Layton, Ut in 2001 and served again with the single adults and then in the primary presidency. In January 2005 we relocated to Blue Springs, Missouri (near Independence) with Todd's work and I currently teach sunday school to the 15-yr-olds and serve on the activities committee.
We have 2 boys and a girl: Conner age 5, Dawson age 2 and Jayci Lyn age 2 weeks. I did hair for 14 years as well as makeovers and photography for a while. I also got a BS in Public Relations at Weber State University. I currently am just trying to keep up with my kids and do a little hair on the side.
Todd and I love to travel and have had many opportunities to do so with his work. We've been on several cruises, to Austria, Germany, Hawaii, New York, and several other nearby states. I still need to get back to Vancouver again, though.
It's been great to be here in MO where a lot of the church history I teach about every week actually took place. I have a renewed respect for the prophet Joseph Smith and the early saints and all they went through for their faith and testimonies. I hope I can be as strong in the faith as they were. I love the gospel and the opportunity to share it here where we aren't surrounded by members like we were in Utah. I kind of feel like I'm on a mission again! People are very open about their faith out here and happy to talk about it. We look forward to many missionary experiences to come.
