Cordell Brownie Rolfson, 69, North Shore Ward, Vancouver British Columbia Stake, called as president of the new Vancouver British Columbia Temple. President Rolfson's wife, Marilyn Jean Hamshaw Rolfson, will serve as temple matron. President Rolfson is a sealer and a high priest group leader. He has served as a stake president, stake president's counselor, bishop and high councilor. A retired systems consultant, he was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, to Brownie and Lenoir Pack Rolfson.

Sister Rolfson is a stake Relief Society president and temple ordinance worker. She has served as a counselor in both a stake and ward Relief Society presidency and ward Young Women presidency, as well as a seminary teacher. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to John Frederick and Jean Margaret Hunter Hamshaw.
