BJ just arrived in Antofagasta, Chile today. He is excited to be there after a long plane ride. 2 hours from Utah to LAX, 8 hours from LAX to Peru, 3 hours from Peru to Santiago, 3 hours from Santiago to Antofagasta. 8 hours lay over between flights. He was hungry because he tried to make his calls in between his flight. 35 missionaries traveled to Santiago, 4 to Antofagasta. BJ said that one of the companions spoke fluid Spanish, so that helped them at the airport. He said that the Spanish was different in Chile and he had no idea what they were saying. We spoke on the phone at 4:30 a.m., but he was excited to share the gospel. |
