Life has gone by a million miles an hour since Osorno 90-92.
I have been happily married since 1994 to Betty, we have two great kids, Aaron (12) and Mikeyla (5).
We love living in Portland, Oregon and being outdoors camping, swimming, hiking, biking, running or just taking it slow.
Currently serve on the high council of our stake and represent the needs of the Spanish Speaking branch of the church here in Hillsboro, Oregon. Have spent most of my years since the mission in Spanish speaking wards and branches, which I love.
I decided to change professions and start Dental School August 2008. A four year program, I will graduate from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Dentistry in 2012.
I don't see anyone much from the mission. I saw Marco Figueroa when I went to General Confernce Oct 2007. I saw President Barrios and his wife who I saw on a visit to Chile in 2002. I do hold close email contact with Michel Pontillo. I have had sparse email contact with a few other companions (Parra, Valle).
I get to Chile periodically, since my wife Betty is from Chile. Since the mission I went in 1994, 2002, 2007. I had no idea on the mission how strongly rooted Chile would become in my life. |
