Well, I'm finally here at dental school in Sunny South Florida. The Weather is great except for the horrible humidity. I can't be outside for more than 5 minutes w/o getting soaked w/ sweat. So far the first couple of weeks haven't been too hard (but they tell us that it will soon change). Luckily I have a very supportive and motivating wife who makes sure that I keep a balanced life. There are 8 other guys in my class that are BYU grads and we're all friends and study buddies already. Melisa is happy here as there 3 Chilean families in our ward. Even our Bishop is Chilean. We got together the other day w/ one of the families and had Pastel de Choclo! Oh yeah! Tommy still isn't talking in complete sentences yet but he loves to play and dance and will physically imitate anything he sees. What he does say is all in spanish though. The english will come later no matter what. Well, I'd love to hear from anybody who want's to drop us a line. In the past I've been terrible about writting back but I promise I will be faithful now. I feel terrible about having lost contact with my mission friends. Bye! |
