This year is only half way over but a lot has happened in my life. January 12, I married my wife Mckenzie in the Bountiful temple. We lived in Logan until the first week of May when I graduated from Utah State University, with my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. The week after I graduated, Mckenzie and I packed up everything we owned in her old Land Cruiser and a towed UHAUL all the way to Alameda California. Alameda is a small island in the San Francisco bay area just off the coast of Oakland. I work for a company called Wind River. I am part of a group that maintains and develops the kernel of VxWorks. VxWorks for those who don’t know is an embedded computer operating system that is used in many aircraft, cars, telecommunications devices, and just about anything else you can think of.
My life has changed so much in the past six months but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!! I think of Chile every day and miss the friendships that I developed while I was there. I wish everyone he best and hope that all is well with everyone. |
