I finished my Spanish degree at the University of Utah by studying in Spain for 2 months. I moved back to California to teach elementary school and work toward my master's degree in education at Pepperdine University. I ran into my would be husband, Thom, in Newport Beach (where I am from and where I was living at the time). We had known each other at the University of Utah. We were married in August 1998 and the following year I finished my master's program. We moved to Salt Lake City in October 1999. We have three daughters and one son; Kate (2000), Emma (2001), Thomas Jr (2003) and Sophia (2007) |
