Maria Eugenia and I returned last October for the Si Vas Para Chile events. We were both so impressed with the growth of the Church and the depth of experience and testimony of the members. The organization was phenomenal! Thanks to all involved.
We also spent a day or so in Constitucion as I just had to see the town after the terre/maremoto. There is still so much that needs to be done to help the town and its wonderful people. The beautiful chapel stands out as a beacon to the whole town.
Didn't get to see everyone that we wanted to but what a blessing to see old friends. It felt like a preview of coming into the spirit world seeing people we hadn't seen in so long and enjoying our common faith in Christ. I remember when I was set apart I was told that I would come to love the people of Chile and on this most recent trip I reflected on those words and the deep feelings I still have for la gente. |
