Karen and I have 5 outstanding kids (2 girls and 3 boys), three of whom have been married in the temple, three of whom are Eagle Scouts, one of whom has served a mission in Argentina (Buenos Aires, Oeste), one of whom has given us three beautiful grand daughters, one of whom is a pilot with a commercial pilot's rating, soon to complete his Aviation and Aeronautics degree at UVSC, one of whom is a recent graduate of cosmotolgy school, one of whom is attending SLCC, until he receives his mission call in about 8 months, one of whom is a junior at Jordan High School, one of whom is a BYU graduate and is married to a PA, one of whom is a snowboarder.
I recently took an early retirement from Dex Media, where I was the Senior Sales Manager, and went to work for an up and coming directory publisher, PDC. New challenges, more fun.
I have been serving as the Bishop of the Willow Canyon 8th Ward for the last 3 years, my fourth stint in a bishopric, but my first in the middle chair. Karen has had to take care of a lot of kid issues in sacrament meeting for the last 20 or so years, without a husband to help out. However, I have watched compassionately from the stand! She's a saint. |
