Hello. Yes I am still active and hope to endure to the end. I've had lots of callings as have all of you. What I enjoy most is teaching but I've had mostly administrative jobs serving in three bishoprics, once as a bishop, high councilor, scout master, several stake callings, Elder's quorum president, high priest group leader, and a few brief teaching assignments. I have a wonderful wife who after being an old maid school teacher got to be a full time mom to seven wonderful children. Now 5 granddaughters with twins on the way. Family life is great and I am so grateful to know that it can last for ever. Last trip was to Brazil where we picked our youngest son from his mission. It reminded me alot of Chile. We have also been to Samoa, Guatamala, Boston, and Boise, Idaho to pick up other children from their missions. Each time, I longed to return to Chile and "Preach the Gospel" again. I want to thank all of my companions and great missionaries that I worked with in Chile. It was fun to see Elder Kester as Adam in the temple film for many years. May God be with you til we meet again. |
