Comments: After returning home from the best two and a half years of my life, I returned to school. In January of 1966 I started a two year tour in the US Navy. Met my bride in San Diego and we were married in the Los Angeles Temple. After my time in the Navy, we returned to Utah where I received an engineering degree from Weber State. We have five sons, all of which are Eagle Scouts and return missionaries. One (Trent) is a graduate from BYU School of Law. The other four (not following their father) decided to be medical doctors and are in various stages. The oldest (Chadd) started his practice just this past August and has two of our five grandchildren. They live in Kaysville only about three miles from grandpa, just where they belong. The youngest Nelson (Cory) and his wife are in their first year of medical school in Kirksville, Missouri. They are expecting their first and our third granddaughter in February. Our middle son (Brett) is in his second year of residency at Harvard. His younger brother (Travis) is in his first year of residency in Akron, Ohio. I am a year or so away from retirement and plan to do a little dedicated genealogical work, spend some time building a family retreat near Lava Hot Springs in Idaho, before we go on a mission. Life has been good! The better part of it started in Chile with some of the best people in the world.
