Comments: While in Valdivia my companion was Elder Mark Alder.
Upon returning from Chile I attended USU and received a BA in Spanish, then a Master's in Hospital Administration from Tulane Univ in New Orleans. Except for two years with the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, I worked with Catholic Hospital systems throughout my career. Upon retiring my wife and I moved back to Logan, where we had met and were married while attending USU. Cache Valley is my heaven on earth!
We have six children, all married in the Temple. All three boys served missions.
I've served in two Bishoprics, and as a Branch President twice while in Arkansas.
Here in Logan I am working for a Head Start agency helping Hispanic children and their families prepare for English schooling. I am also enjoying immensely singing in Craig Jessup's American Festival Chorus, which he organized after retiring from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. |
