I am currentlly serving as the High Priests Group leader of the Lacombe Ward in Alberta. My wife and I are also serving as ordinance workers in the Edmonton, Alberta Temple.

In April of 2006 my wife and I returned from our 18 month proselyting mission in the Ecuador Quito Mission. We had a marvellous experience working with the members and the Elders in locating, teaching and testifying to these good less active saints of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have 2 adopted children. Each of them have had 3 children. Our son Shane, has a girl and 2 boys and our daughter Shauna, has 3 girls. So we have 6 grandchildren and we love them dearly.

I am so grateful for the gospel. I know God lives and that He loves each one of His precious children. Joseph Smith, the prophet of the restoration, saw Heavenly Father and his beloved son, Jesus Christ. Because of him we have the priesthood and the Book of Mormon, and all the power and authority to bring all of Heavenly Fathers children back to Him if we accept Jesus Christ as the son of God and the Savior of mankind. I'm grateful for the atonement which gives us repentance and the resurrection and the possibility of eternal life.

My wife and I are now serving a 23 month Temple mission in Santiago Chile. We have been here since Oct. 19, 2008. We are enjoying it very much.
