I served in Chile from November 73 to September 75 under President Glade, and then when the mission was split, in Concepcion under President Haymore.
I returned home to Southern California, went to work and school, and married Marilyn Barton in June of 76. In November of 1980 we moved to Utah, and have lived in West Jordan since 1981.
I am a store director for Smith's Food and Drug, having worked for them since we moved to Utah. I currently manage the store in West Valley City on 40th West and 47th South.
Marilyn works at Copper Hills high School, in the attendance office.
We have two grown children...daughter Kristen and son Adam. Kristen lives in West Jordan with her husband Shayn, and has two boys. Adam lives in northern California, and is about to have a new baby boy as well.
Marilyn and I are currently serving as Church Service Missionaries in a Spanish speaking Ward in the Salt Lake South Mission, and enjoy it very much. Unfortunately, the Spanish is a little rusty after 35 years! |
