After graduating from BYU and Thunderbird, I worked 30 years in the banking industry, including 8 years in Latin America. I visited Chile 4 times between 1978 and 1986 and walked the La Cisterna neighborhood where I served in 1969. Those visits brought back lots of fond memories of my mission days. I plan on making at least one more trip to Chile and would love to visit the south - La Union Branch had only been open 5 months when I arrived just before Christmas in 1968. I especially have fond memories of Southern Chile. I retired 6 years ago and now play golf as much as I can. I am currently serving in the Oakland Stake young men's presidency. |
