I lived in Villa Alemana and was introduced to the Church in 1958, however was not baptized until May 1969. With my family I moved to Australia late in 1969, but returned the next year. I emigrated alone to the US in April 1971. I spent a few months in New York and then moved to California, where I met my husband Roberto Jimenez. We raised 4 great children, who are all married and have given us 10 grandchildren so far. I have served in all the organizations of the Church, currently I am the president of the Young Women in a Spanish Branch. I served in the SLC Inner City Mission 2004-2006. I have been working for the COP since January 1986 in the Family History Department, currently as the cataloger for the Family History Library's collection from Spanish and Portuguese countries. |
