"Do jeh, Tin Fuh."

Those were Elder Evan Wong's words as he exhaustedly stepped in the door of his apartment on the last proselyting day of his mission. I couldn't have said it better.

Nothing has been of more worth to me in my life than those years spent in Hong Kong serving Tin Fu. Those years granted me a deep testimony and a husband that shares my same convictions. In fact, I don't know who cried more during "The Other Side of Heaven"--me or him.

We are in Boise, ID doing Gene's clinical rotations for medical school. He begins his fourth year in June. One more year and then we are off to residency somewhere.

We've got two kiddos and one on the way. When I'm not busy with them, I am sampling the local Chinese markets and cuisine (which reminds me of a bad experience I had with mandarin chicken the other day.... It tasted like chicken rolled in a doughnut. *blegh*).

I’ve been blessed to have Youth Callings the bulk of these last 6 years. This year my husband and I are teaching the 13-14 year old Sunday School class. We are their first exposure to the Book of Mormon in its entirety and we LOVE trying to bring it to life for them! We’re putting those great object lessons all of you taught me in HK to good use!

Let us know if you’re in the area!
