My companions were Sarah McLaughlin, Katherine Yancey and Cathy O'Dwyer.
I had 2 surgeries at my Mission's half-way mark. I completed my Mission in the California Arcadia Mission. I served in the Glendale/East L.A./ Monterrey Park/Alhambra area. I occasionally was able to help out the 8 Mandarin speaking Elders. I also learned Spanish and little bit of Armenian. I felt completely blessed to have served in 2 wonderful Missions!
I returned home and served as a Counselor for CES's - E.specially F.or Y.outh program. In the Fall, I returned to Arizona State University, where I met my wonderful husband, Michael. We were married and sealed in the Arizona Temple on January 5, 1996.
We have been blessed with 3 wonderful boys! Joseph (almost 8), Daniel (6), and Ammon (4). We currently live in Jacksonville, Florida, where my husband continues to work as an Engineer with Boeing.
I currently serve as Primary President (whew...130 kids!). I have also served as a Primary Teacher, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Assistant Stake Girls Camp Director, and 5 years in Young Women's
I love this Gospel! I am so very thankful for it! I know our Father in Heaven has a plan for all of us, His precious Children. I know that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is at the center of this great plan. I know His great love, sacrifice, and atonement has made it possible for all of to return to our Father in Heaven's presence. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and an instrument in bringing to pass the restoration of Christ's true Church upon the earth. I also, know that through this great restoration, that we have the guidance and revelation for our day through our living prophet, Gordon B. Hinckely. The scriptures have strengthened my testimony of my Savior and His atonement. I have also found answers and direction on how to be a better wife, mother, member of the Church, and daugher of God.
