Since my mission, I have served as a home teacher, elder's quorum president, primary teacher, sunday school teacher, ward and stake sunday school president, and stake missionary. Divorced; custodial parent of my two boys. Excommunicated in Sept. 2003 for admitting to being gay. Currently single, hoping to find a life-partner.
Recently served as co-director of the Salt Lake Chapter of Affirmation, a support group for GLBT mormons; am a member of the Human Rights Campaign, Equality Utah, and the ACLU.
I will always be grateful for my membership in the Church, and especially my mission; I have been forced to grow and move beyond my LDS faith, but through that painful process, have found an inner peace and a sense of wholeness I did not think would ever be possible for me.
