Back in 2000 I started GENWON a Chinese genealogy internet company. In 2002 that bubble burst. In 2001 I graduated from ASU in Chinese and Intl bus. I then went to Johns Hopkins for a chinese political science certificate, studying in Nanjing for a year, loved it! Moved to Shanghai for a few months to look for work and crashed with Esplin for a while. He was a great help to me.
Came home in 2003 got my MBA in Intl Business, and in 2005 started an appraisal apprenticeship to be licensed in 07. Strange huh?
While cruising the LDS websites I met my wife. Got married 09/06, and have a kid due in 08/07.
I finally got back to HK in 2000. It was as if I had never left. It is home to me. In fact I feel the same way about China. If I look at pictures of either place for too long I get home sick. I've read similar things from other missionaries on here too. What a wonderful experience my mission was, especially every companion from the MTC to the filipino branch.
