Comments:
I live in Jacksonville, Florida, married for 29 years to Monica, who I met in high school. We married two years after my return from Hong Kong. We lived in Utah until 2002 when I took a job in Florida. We have two sons, 25 and 22. They both live here in Jax, one married and one still at home. We all serve in the Church, three of us in one stake and our oldest son and his wife in the neighboring stake. I have returned to Hong Kong numerous times since 1984. I am the director of media relations for PGA Tour China, based in Beijing, and the PGA Tour historian. I travel to China at least twice a year and always make a point to swing by Hong Kong for a visit to No. 2 Cornwall Street in Kowloon Tong. My typical activity is take a taxi to the Ho Man Tin chapel. From there, I make a walking tour from Shek Ku Street to Lung Kung Road in Kowloon City (final area) and then to To Kwa Wan Road in To Kwa Wan (first area). My Cantonese is still serviceable, and I've been teaching myself Mandarin for the last couple of years since this work assignment requires a version of Chinese of which I was previously not familiar. Landing at the current airport, especially after living so close to Kai Tak for so many months, is always something of a letdown.
