My mailing address is 551 Reagan Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83401 I served in the Cali Colombia mission from November 1975 until May 1977. I served in San Diego, California for 3 months while waiting for a visa and once I arrived in Colombia I served inhen in Cali, Armenia, Pereira, Palmira and then Cali again. Some of my companions were: Maria Escobar, Ora Lyn Richardson, Cecilia Osorio, Tulia Saavedra, Mary Jo Chandler, Mary Jane Massaro and Peggy Ralls. I would love to hear from any of my old companions. Shortly after arriving home I married Gregg Baker. We both attended BYU and I graduated with a degree in Interior Design. He is a pediatric dentist and I stay at home and take care of our six children. My mission was a wonderful time in my life and I will always love the Colombian people.
Hello to all the missionaries who served in the Cali/Colombia mission between 1975-1977. I think it is wonderful that technology has made it possible for us to communicate so rapidly via the internet. I served under President Jensen as a Welfare Service Missionary and had some memorable experiences which laid the foundation for my growth in the church. I had only been a member two years when I went on my mission. After my mission I resumed a friendship with a friend that I dated before we both decided to go on missions. Ed Brennan returned from his mission in South Africia the same time I returned from Colombia. We attended BYU and resumed our friendship and we were married within a year of our return from the mission fields. We lived in Utah until 1985 and then got hooked up with the U.S.State Department, as Ed is serving as a Diplomat, and we have been traveling ever since. We have lived in Virginia, Bolivia, Honduras, and presently in Hawaii where Ed is the head representative for the U.S. State Dept. for the pacific rim (including Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, etc.) Ours has been an exciting life style which has given us the opportunity to feel like we have served on serveral missions since our original missions. We have found joy in serving Heavenly Father's children in various parts of the world. We have two daughters in high school and two sons in upper elementary. So our household in always in a constant state of motion. All are busy preparing for future missions so it will be exciting to see where they get called to serve. I hope life has treated you well over the last 20 plus years. I would love to hear from any of you at any time.

Anyway now for the trivia. After returning in '77, I met my future wife, Venus, within 12 hours of stepping off the plane. I spotted her in my home ward choir warming up just before performing at Stake Conference. Something clicked for me right at that moment. Of course, it helped that the Bishop called us both as young single adult co-chairmen. I think that half the town of Panaca (Nevada) was plotting on how to play 'match-maker' with us. We are the parents of 8 children: 6 girls and 2 boys. The last two being identical twin girls. We've served in various ward callings, typically centered around Young Women's for Venus and Elder's quorum or Young Men's for Tim. Venus is a school teacher, and I have worked in the computer industry and although I would love to still call Panaca home, we've lived in Utah almost all our married life, where we've been very happy indeed.
