Williams, before becoming a secretary in the office. I served there for three months with Elders Wood, Roberts, and Meek. I was then sent to Manizalez to serve with Elder Pabon. In Palmira with Elders Amaya, Brooks for another three months. In Medellin. I served with Elders Marco Diaz and LLorente. In Perreira with Elder Burton, (who lived down the street from me back in the states), and Elder Manley. I went back to Colombia in October of 96. It was a happy reunion with former Companions as well as members. Some of the converts went on to serve missions and had abundant success themselves. I plan to go back again this summer. Do I still have a testimony? Yup! I am not married yet, but ask me in a year. I still love to play I still skate board, snow board and surf quite regularly. I am studying Geology in the field of volcanology as well as Spanish. For the past six years I have been employed with FedEx fulfilling my other childhood interest working with Aircrafts..I love it! Life is good. I am always learning new things. President Leano always said "La vida es un buen maestro." i De cireto ! "Always listen for the sound of sandaled feet, take the pierced hand of our savior Jesus Christ...and get to know him. Love, Elder Aydelotte

Thank you for a Colombia Cali mission site. I'd almost lost hope. Thank you to all & anyone involved in this effort...it's much appreciated. I served under Pres. Mickelsen from Feb '87 to about May '87--I returned home on a medical leave. I arrived in the field with Hna. Jenny Hutchins (now Whitcomb) from Massachusetts & Hna. Sandee Lee (now Hurley) from Tennessee. I served in Cali with Hna. Brooke Barham (from S.L.C.). By the way, I'm trying to trace her down if anyone knows anything. We did a lot of work in Belen with the Goron family. They had a 10-yr.-old boy Jesus who I've often wondered about. He was so eager to serve & receive the priesthood one day. I've lost contact w/ families there. Our chapel was the San Fernando ward. Other missionaries I recall: Elder Todd from Bountiful, UT, my district leader. His companion was Elder Castro from Cartagena. Elder Gubler from Nevada also served with us. I ended my time with Hna. Marta Lucia Botia from Bogota. I recall an Hna. Camp & Elder Nick Taylor. I was in Cali for a short while, so no one may remember, but I just want to say Aloha! I'm originally from Hawaii & I live on the North Shore of the island of Oahu (it's the place where you see the surf contests broacasted on T.V.). I work at the Turtle Bay Hilton Golf and Tennis Resort. I'm near the BYU-Hawaii campus & there's a lot of activity this week. The church in Hawaii is having its pioneer sesquicentennial celebration now & it's focusing on the pioneer roots of the church in Polynesia. In fact, Pres. & Sis. Hinckley & Elder & Sis. Wirthlin are here for the events. They actually stayed at the Turtle Bay Hilton & I had the incredible treat of greeting them. It was a very special experience. I love this church & I know it's true. Again, I appreciate your time & effort to allow us to "meet & greet" with any old friends. Aloha. 53-837 Kamehameha Hwy. Hauula, HI 96717
