Business trainer and consultant; former media relations officer/ spokesman for the Church in Salt Lake City (1993-2004); author of several books (see me on Amazon.com), including one for Scripps Howard about Colombia ("Dying Words," 1990, now out of print). Married highschool sweetheart, seven children (2 return missionaries, 1 serving in Australia; one married with one granddaughter). Served with half the mission: Prieto, Guarin, Don Simmonds, Paul McCleary, EJ Caffaro, Moscoso, Scott Murdock, Rodrigo Ramirez, Dave Hammer, Lucas Echeverria, Greg Hatch, Julio Gonzales, Hector Velarde... I'm in fairly regular contact with Craig Adams, E. J. Caffaro, Scott Murdock. Attended good friend Kurt Shipley's funeral in 2004.
