Comments:
After my mission, I went to BYU, Provo. I married Summer Brooks (Springville, UT) in August 2002. We had a son in Dec. 2003, a daughter in Feb. 2006, and another daughter in Nov. 2008.
I graduated from BYU in Mechanical Engineering in April, 2004, and got a job with McFarland Door, where I did some management and engineering. We lived in a tiny town called Lakeview, Oregon, where I served as Young Men's President and ward clerk.
In August 2005 I went to graduate school to get my MBA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
After completing my MBA at U. of Illinois in May 2007, I took a job with Ford Motor Co. We moved to Canton, MI, in the western suburbs of Detroit-Metro, 20 minutes from Ann Arbor. Winters can be a bit nasty, but we really like our ward and our community.
At Ford, I am in their Purchasing organization. During my first two years I was a buyer of Steering Columns and Intermediate Shafts for vehicles produced in North America. I am currently a buyer for Inbound Truckload Transportation of production parts going into our U.S. assembly plants.
My wife has her hands full with our three kids. She serves as a counselor in the primary presidency. I am a counselor in the elder's quorum presidency. Our kids are now 6, 4, and 1 years old. Life really is good. Our family is happy and we feel very blessed of the Lord.
