Nov 14 we sent our youngest son to the Provo MTC to begin his mission. He is the first in our family to serve a mission and we are so excited for this opportunity. We have 7 children, 15 grandchildren, and our first great-grandchild is on the way. We used to look forward to retirement, but now know that there is no such thing for those of use who serve the Lord. There is always work to be done.
Buster will be a great missionary because he has an amazing testimony of the Savior and of His work. His dad and I share his testimony and know how important missionary work is for those seeking the gospel. His dad became active after many years and his mom became a member both because of diligent, loving missionaries who weren't afraid of hard work.
We've heard many great stories from those who've served in this mission field and are so thankful Buster gets to add his story to theirs. |
