News Item: Alumni's Son Seeks Stories from those who knew his father
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News
As a young man in Vermont in early 1979 I met Elder [Russell] Golden. A few weeks ago on a spontaneous visit to Tacoma, WA I met Elder [Greg] Golden, his son, currently serving in the Washington Tacoma Mission. His father died in 1996, and through circumstances too complicated too explain, all of his mission journals had been lost. All he knows about his father is that he served in the Massachusetts Boston Mission, and helped open the Connecticut Hartford Mission. He would like to hear from anyone who knew his father while on his mission.
The mission address he gave me is:
Elder Greg Golden
Washington Tacoma Mission
4007 Bridgeport Way West
Suite D
University Place, WA
98466
If you can find anyone who used to be his companion, or know of anyone he may have baptized, or can contact any former mission President. He and I would greatly appreciate it. He had been praying to meet someone who knew his father, and though I only knew him briefly, the Lord for some reason chose me, as I actually live in Colorado, and happened to go to Tacoma for just two weeks. Finding others must be my job, and I'd appreciate it if you could help me with this.
Thank you much.
