We are currently enjoying our 13 grandchildren with two due this year. We are also realizing many blessing from our son serving in the Toulouse France Mission. With our youngest 16 years old we working on those bonding moments that build relationships. Our military son was recently named California 2007 US Army National Guardsman of the year. We are so proud of him, his reward however, a second tour of duty in Iraq this August.
We continue faithful in the Gospel. I am currently serving as the Branch President of the FCC Victorville (Federal Correctional Complex, Victorville CA.), The George branch. There are four separate prisons in the complex, 1 max, 2 medium security and 1 womens facility which I oversee with my two counselors and a pool of volunteers. My lovely wife serves as my Relief Society President which makes it easy for PPI's.
I have recently come in contact with a number of members in all four countries (NO! not in the prison) and what a delight and strenthening of testimonies to hear of their love for the Savior and His gospel. |
