We've been in Austin for a little more than a year since I started a Ph.D. program here at the University of Texas. One year down, several to go, but I'm loving every bit of it. Returned recently from a three-week study abroad that took me to Sweden, Finland and Russia. With a research interest in globalization as it relates to journalism, I expect to get abroad again as often as possible.
