I served under President Ramon Alvarez, Aulestia, and Pablo Fernandez.
My companions were Elders Curtis Turner (trainer), Clavijo, Roberts, Joe Linford, Cleon Yazzie, Zhuzhingo, Hiro Okano, Merrill, Goodman, Bradyn Beesley, Juan Romero, JJ Giles, Darren Moss, Nelson, Palacios, and Ramirez.
I got married August 12, 1997, in the Salt Lake Temple. I graduated in April 1999, from BYU with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. Then, I worked for the State of Utah, Division of Child and Family Services for almost 2 years. In September 2000, I returned to BYU to earn a Masters of Social Work degree.
I have two children: Miguel Angel (4 1/2years old) and José Carlos (3 years old).
Update 11/2003: I am currently living in Caldwell, Idaho, where I work as a social worker and bilingual mental health counselor at Terry Reilly Health Services (TRHS). TRHS is a community health center that serves the migrant and seasonal farmworkers in southwestern Idaho. |
