Since the mission I have graduated from school (BYU in 1989 and Johns Hopkins in 1991) and have worked in Latin American marketing. I am now living in Campinas, Brazil, where I am managing corporate planning (expansion and acquisitions) for Westvaco Corporation. I am married to the former Karen Sorensen of Las Vegas, NV, and we have three kids, Lauren (5), Will (3) and Ben (6 months). We have been in Brazil for three and a half years, and we have all learned to deal with many of the same things we dealt with in Ecuador, especially in our church callings. We live across the highway from the site of the Campinas Temple, and we have enjoyed watching its construction progress. I have been back to Ecuador at least 8 times since 1992 on business.
