My mission president was Pres. Berge. My first companion, Elder Hill, was a good one out of the MTC, because he spoke excellent Spanish. Elder Dye had a flare on the wild side, and I had a great time with him. I got Elder Sorenson fresh out of the MTC. We were in Babahoyo during El Nino, and it got flooded. We visited people by canoe, raft, wading, whatever it took. Elder Patterson and I got along great and were able to do well in Boyaca. I spent one month with Elder Isom in Salado. Then, I finished out in Central with Elder Given then Elder Thurber. Somebody before me had decided to paint the bathroom in "the cave" black in Central. I still remember wondering what was in there everytime I took a shower.
Currently, I'm married with three children and reside in Broomfield, Colorado. |
