After the mission I taught elementary school for a dozen years, mostly to Spanish-speaking kids. In 2005 I started law school at Chapman University in CA. I now work with my dad in his small Bankruptcy and Family Law firm. My wife Carolyn and I live in Irvine, CA with our Shih Tzu Gibson. For a while, Estrella Barzallo of Azogues, her husband Victor Zhingre, and their three kids lived with us. Nineteen years ago I baptized Estrella's father Julio, and eighteen years later I helped confirm her daughter Becky!
